Privacy

• This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage.
• Our host Cloudflare adds network error reporting (NEL): your browser may send error reports to Cloudflare.
• Cloudflare, our host, keeps technical logs.
• When the player downloads a model, Hugging Face sees your IP address.

No sign-up, no analytics script, no advertising, no resource loaded from other sites.

Cloudflare's logs can include the IP address, the time, the page or file requested and the browser's user agent. They serve the operation and security of the site (legitimate interest). Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States, so these data may be processed outside the European Union. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

NEL reports go to a.nel.cloudflare.com. They describe network errors, such as a failed connection, and the address of the page concerned; they do not contain the content of the pages.

Hugging Face hosts the model files. When the player downloads one, Hugging Face receives the request like any download: IP address, time, file requested. Its privacy policy: huggingface.co/privacy.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your personal data. To use them, write to contact.zmlabs@proton.me. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the authority of the country where you live.

Check results

If you send us your result from “Compare your answer with ours”, we receive your email address and what you write: the result line, your system and your processor.

We use this data only to count and check results obtained outside ZMLabs. We publish counts, never names or addresses. Legal basis: consent, given by sending the email.

The conversation file (journal.json) contains every question asked: do not send it.

These emails are kept for 12 months after the result is published or set aside, then deleted.

Our mailbox is hosted by Proton AG, in Switzerland (proton.me/legal/privacy).

What the player sends

The player runs on your computer. To download a model file (germer), it connects to Hugging Face, which sees your IP address. It sends nothing to ZMLabs.

Conversations stay in the folder passed to --maison, on your computer. The player talks to its engine at 127.0.0.1, inside that computer.

This describes the code of player 1.3.1 as we read it; no one outside ZMLabs has audited it.
